GROUND MEAT FANTASY
Fantasifärs
3 tablespoons finely chopped celery
1 finely chopped garlic clove
2 tablespoons oil
1/3 cup red wine
2 slices white bread
salt, black pepper
finely crushed sage
1 egg
crème fraîche or soured cream
Sauté onion, celery and garlic in oil until tender but without taking colour. Pour in the red wine and let simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the bread, cut in small dice and crusts trimmed off, and let the mixture cool. Pour the wine mixture in the ground meat and flavour with salt, black pepper and sage.

1 lb ground meat, 50/50
3 tablespoons finely chopped onions3 tablespoons finely chopped celery
1 finely chopped garlic clove
2 tablespoons oil
1/3 cup red wine
2 slices white bread
salt, black pepper
finely crushed sage

For serving:
chili saucecrème fraîche or soured cream
Sauté onion, celery and garlic in oil until tender but without taking colour. Pour in the red wine and let simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the bread, cut in small dice and crusts trimmed off, and let the mixture cool. Pour the wine mixture in the ground meat and flavour with salt, black pepper and sage.
Stir in the egg and work the mixture well. Shape to
a roll and put in a greased, oven-proof dish. Heat the oven to 350F and
bake for about 50 minutes. Try with a skewer.
Serve with chili sauce and crème fraîche or soured cream in bowls and
also some boiled vegetables.
