Pork chops in wine sauce - Fläskkotletter i vinsås (retro)

PORK CHOPS IN WINE SAUCE
Fläskkotletter i vinsås

4 servings

4 pork chops
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
salt, white pepper
somemarjoram
some thyme

Sauce:
1½ teaspoon arrowroot
1 ¼ cups bouillon
1 tablespoon tomato paste
approx ¼ cup red wine or madeira
10 olives


Fry the pork chops in just a small amount of fat. Flavour with salt, pepper and nice herbs like marjoram and thyme. Take up the chops and keep warm while you’re making the sauce.

Make the sauce in the same pan as you used for the chops. Stir the arrowroot with the cold bouillon, add tomato purée and wine and bring to a boil while stirring. Put the pork chops in the sauce, heat through and sprinkle with sliced olives.

Serve immediately with rice, potatoes or pasta and a salad.
