Beet patties - Rödbetsbiffar

BEET PATTIES
Rödbetsbiffar

This is more fun than serving beets the ordinary way. Delicious with goat’s cheese and perfect as an entrée as well.

4 to 6 servings

1 lb beets
1 small onion
2 eggs
1 tablespoon Maizena
black pepper
1 tablespoon butter or margarine for frying
3/4 cup crème fraîche or soured Cream


Peel and coarsely grate the beets and the onion. Mix with eggs, Maizena, salt and pepper. Shape into small patties and fry them for about 2 minutes on each side. Serve with crème fraîche.
