Fridas bästa chokladkakor
Really scrumptious chocolate cookies, crunchy around
the edges and slightly tough in the middle. If you want crunch only, just bake
them for a couple of minutes longer.
Approx 48 cookies
3½ oz butter or margarine
1 ¼ cups sugar2 eggs
1 ¾ oz dark baking chocolate
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/3 cup chopped walnuts or hazelnuts
1/3 cup powdered sugar
Stir fat and sugar until fluffy, then stir in the eggs, one by one. Melt the chocolate over a waterbath. Mix flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar and blend in chocolate, flour mixture, milk and nuts. Leave the batter in the fridge for about 1 hour.
Roll the batter into tablespoon-sized balls (if too
sticky, flour your hands). Roll the balls in powdered sugar and put them on
greased baking plates (or use baking paper) with about 1 inch between them.
Bake in the middle of the oven at 350F for about 12 minutes.
Let the cookies cool on a rack and then serve them.
Enjoy!
