SPICY BARBECUE PORK CHOPS
Kryddiga grillkotletter

Juicy pork chops brushed with a spicy barbecue sauce is good for both summer and winter, as you can grill them both outdoors and indoors with the same excellent result!

4 servings

4 pork chops
salt, pepper

Marinade:
4 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon Chinese soy sauce
1 crushed garlic clove

Barbecue sauce:
2 tablespoons chili sauce
1½ tablespoons runny honey
1½ tablespoons French mustard
1 to 1½ teaspoons grated horseradish
1 tablespoon oil

Wipe off the pork chops and make a couple of cuts in the rind. Put them on a plate. Blend together the ingredients for the marinade and pour it over the meat. Marinate in room temperature for about 4 hours or at least 8 hours in the fridge. Turn them once.

Mix chili sauce, honey, mustard, horseradish and oil. Take up the pork chops, put them in an oven-proof dish and flavour with salt and pepper. Brush them with the barbecue sauce and grill in the upper part of the oven for 8 to 10 minutes on each side or until done to your liking. Brush occasionally with the barbecue sauce.

If you want a stronger taste, you can also flavour the pork chops with some powdered chili or cayenne.

Serve with any kind of potatoes you fancy, salad and bread.

Enjoy!

Bella
