Ground beef patties with mustard mix - Köttfärsbiffar med senapsröra

GROUND BEEF PATTIES WITH MUSTARD MIX
Köttfärsbiffar med senapsröra

This delicious mustard mix makes the beef patties even better. This is suitable for both kids and grown-ups.

4 servings

14 oz to 1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
salt, pepper

Mustard mix:
1 small leek
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons mustard
1/3 cup chopped pickled gherkin
2 to 3 tablespoons chopped capers (optional, but I love them)
1/3 cup chopped parsley
1/3 cup cream, 15% fat

Decoration:
lettuce leaves
lemon slices
tomatoes
parsley

Shape the ground meat into 4 patties. Heat the fat in a frying pan and fry on medium heat until nicely coloured and done. Flavour with salt and pepper after frying. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.

Trim and shred the leek. Heat the fat in a frying pan, put in the leek and sizzle for a few minutes. Stir in the mustard, pickled gherkin, optional chopped capers, parsley and cream and heat through.

Put the patties on a bed of lettuce leaves and decorate as above. Serve the mustard mix separately. Good with this are boiled or raw-fried potatoes and fried mushrooms. You can also serve the patties in hamburger breads with the mix as a dressing.

Enjoy!

Bella
