SOFT CHERRY COOKIES
Mjuka körsbärsformar
2 eggs
1 ¼ cups flour
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon crushed instant coffee
½ teaspoon ground cloves
4 tablespoons milk
fresh juice from ½ lemon
¾ cup canned cherries
Stir fat and sugar until fluffy and add the eggs,
one by one. Mix flour, cocoa baking powder, cinnamon, coffee and cloves in a
bowl. Blend the flour mixture into the egg batter and then add milk and lemon
juice. Blend in the cherries.

Juicy cherries make these cookies what they are. Serve
them with a dab of whipped cream!
18 to 20 cookies
3½ oz butter or margarine
2/3 cup sugar2 eggs
1 ¼ cups flour
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon crushed instant coffee
½ teaspoon ground cloves
4 tablespoons milk
fresh juice from ½ lemon
¾ cup canned cherries
Drop out the batter into greased small baking tins
or double muffin paper tins. Fill to approx 2/3 and bake in the middle of the
oven at 350F for 12 to 15 minutes or until done. Allow to cool
slightly, unmould onto a rack and let cool completely.
