Maybe you can come up with a better name for this! It’s loved by kids and grown-ups and is easy to make, a good thing when you’re many at the table.

4 servings

2 carrots
1 zucchini
2 tomatoes
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 can mushrooms, approx 6 oz
14 oz to 1 lb ground beef
1/3 cup chopped parsley
2/3 cup cream, 15% fat
1 meat bouillon cube
½ to 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ to 1 teaspoon salt
white pepper

Peel the carrots and dice them, the zucchini and tomatoes. Melt the fat in a pot or a large frying pan and sizzle carrots, zucchini and mushrooms for a few minutes. Blend in the ground meat and brown it all for about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, half the parsley, cream, bouillon cube, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Let the casserole simmer, covered, on low heat for about 15 to 20 minutes. Flavour to taste with salt and pepper.

Sprinkle with remaining parsley and serve with boiled rice or pasta and a salad.
