STEW WITH ROAST BEEF, MUSHROOMS
AND BELL PEPPER
Gryta med rostbiff, champinjoner och paprika

Food should be easy to make, without tricky ingredients (many ingredients in my recipes might seem tricky to you) and time-consuming work - and still give you that special feeling of festivitas in the everyday life. This is a quick and delicious stew, perfect for when you're in a hurry and still want to put good food on the table.

Serves 2

9 oz fresh, lovely roast beef, cut in cubes (not too large)
5 to 6 fresh, sliced mushrooms
1 shredded red bell pepper
butter or margarine
salt, peppar
0.2 cup water
0.2 cup cream, 15% fat or the like
1 teaspoon tomato paste
½ to 1 teaspoon Chinese soy sauce
some cayenne (optional)


Brown meat, mushrooms and bell pepper in some fat and flavor with salt and pepper. Dilute with water and cream. Add tomato paste and soy sauce and let the stew simmer for a few minutes.

Flavor with some optional cayenne and serve with rice or potatoes and a salad.
