LEMON FROMAGE WITH YOGURT
Citronfromage med yoghurt
Lemon fromage is a fresh and simple dessert appreciated by most people. You can very well make it one day in advance before serving.
Serves 4
4 gelatin sheets = 2 teaspoons powdered gelatin
zest and juice from 3 lemons
0.2 cup sugar
some powdered vanilla
2 eggs
0.8 cup plain yogurt, 10% fat or the like
Decoration:
fresh berries
Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water for at least 5 minutes. Bring lemon zest and juice to a boil with the sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Strain the liquid and then beat in the gelatin sheets and vanilla powder. Allow to cool.
Separate egg yolks and whites. Beat the whites until stiff and fluffy and gently blend it with the yogurt. Stir in one egg yolk at a time. Add lemon-sugar mixture and stir well until smooth. Divide into 4 serving glasses and store cold for at least 6 hours, but preferably overnight.
Decorate with fresh berries.
Enjoy!
