BANANA CUPS
Bananbägare
ground cinnamon
4 tablespoons Kahlúa or some other coffee liqueur
4 bananas
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/3 cup chopped almonds
cocktail cherries for decoration
Melt the fat in a frying pan or a sauté pan. Blend
in the sugar and let it melt. Add cinnamon and coffee liqueur and heat to
boiling point.

sauce … A dessert that’s easy to make and really luxurious at that!

3 tablespoons butter or margarine
5 tablespoons brown sugarground cinnamon
4 tablespoons Kahlúa or some other coffee liqueur
4 bananas
2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/3 cup chopped almonds
cocktail cherries for decoration
Peel the bananas, cut them in half and split them
lengthwise. Put them in the sauce and heat until the fruit is heated through.
Baste occasionally with the sauce. Spoon the vanilla ice cream into 4 serving
bowls, divide the bananas in the bowls and pour the sauce on top. Sprinkle with
chopped almonds, decorate with cocktail cherries and serve.
