PEACHES WITH VANILLA YOGURT
Persikor med vaniljyoghurt
1 cup water
2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
4 tablespoons plain yogurt
2 tablespoons vanilla sugar
or grated chocolate
Skin the peaches, split them and
remove the stones. Bring sugar, water and vanilla sugar to a boil in a
saucepan. Put in the peaches and simmer until tender, 5 to 10 minutes. For
canned peaches you bring the peach liquid and vanilla sugar to a boil. Put in
the peaches and heat them through.

Fluffy yoghurt with vanilla really
gives the peaches a golden edge. You can use either fresh or canned peaches for
this lovely, easy-made dessert.
4 servings
4 fresh peaches or 1 can, 1 ¾ lbs
1 cup sugar1 cup water
2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
Vanilla yogurt:
2/3 cup heavy cream4 tablespoons plain yogurt
2 tablespoons vanilla sugar
Decoration:
fresh mint, fresh berriesor grated chocolate
Beat the cream lightly and mix it
with the yogurt. Stir in the vanilla sugar. Serve the warm peaches in serving
bowls, pour some of the liquid over them and add a dab of vanilla yogurt.
Decorate with any of the suggestions above.
