Sesame seed cookies - Sesamkakor

SESAME SEED COOKIES
Sesamkakor

You shape the dough into small balls and dip them in sesame seeds. The cookies are baked until golden and have a very special taste (I love it!!!).

35 to 40 cookies

2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
salt
5 oz butter or margarine
2 eggs
4 tablespoons sesame seeds

Mix flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Cut the fat in pieces and finely divide it into the flour mixture. Add the eggs and work the dough together. Shape into small balls, diameter 1 to 1 ¼ inches, dip or roll them in sesame seeds and put them on greased baking plates (or use baking paper).

Bake in the middle of the oven at 350 to 390F to 6 for about 15 minutes. Cool on a rack and store in air-tight jars.

Enjoy!
