KASSLER PROVENCALE
1 ¼ cup heavy cream
1/3 cup chopped parsley
2 to 3 crushed garlic cloves
½ teasppoon salt
black pepper
¾ cup grated cheese
Cut the kassler in thin slices and put them in one or two rows in the middle of an oven-proof dish. Lightly whip the cream and blend in parsley, garlic, salt and black pepper. Dab it out over the meat and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the middle of the oven at 350 to 390F for about 30 minutes.
Serve oven-baked kassler with a lovely taste of
garlic. The dish is easy to make even if you're cooking for many people, and it’s always a
success.
