Fried fish in mustard sauce - Stekt fisk i senapssås

FRIED FISH IN MUSTARD SAUCE
Stekt fisk i senapssås

It doesn’t have to take longer than this to make a good fish dish. Surprise your friends with this delicious fish straight from the pan.

4 servings

1 lb fillets of cod or sathe
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
salt, white pepper
4 tablespoons flour
1 lb potatoes
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons oil
1 cup cream, 15% fat
2 tablespoons medium strong mustard
5 oz green peas
½ bunch dill

Rinse the fish and cut it in approx ¾ inch pieces. Pour on the lemon juice, sprinkle with salt and pepper and blend well. Put the flour in a deep plate and coat the fish. Peel and slice the potatoes. Melt the fat in a saucepan and fry the potatoes on medium heat until crunchy, approx 10 minutes. Take up the potatoes and set aside.

Heat the oil in the frying pan and gently brown the fish until golden. Meanwhile, heat up the cream, mustard and peas in a saucepan. Rinse and chop the dill (no stems). Pour the mustard sauce over the fish and blend. Gently turn in the potatoes and dill.

Simmer until the potatoes are tender and ready, then serve straight from the pot.

Enjoy!

Bella
