SUNDAY BANANAS

4 tablespoons fresh orange juice
vanilla sugar to taste
1 package frozen, sliced strawberries
(this is an old recipe, and they don’t sell
frozen, sliced strawberries in Sweden
any longer – I freeze myself and/or use fresh
berries)
Beat the cream until thick and firm and flavour with orange juice and vanilla sugar. Spread the orange cream on a serving plate. Split the bananas lengthwise, put them with the cut side up on the orange cream and cover with the frozen, sliced strawberries. It’s even better if you have some kind of almond cookie or rusk to serve with this dessert.
Simple as that! Enjoy!
