Sweet chili pork wok - Fläskwok sweet chili

SWEET CHILI PORK WOK
Fläskwok sweet chili

Taste this sweet and sour wok dish with pork, flavoured with chili and the sweetness from pineapple.

4 servings

1 1/3 lbs fillet of pork
1 onion
2 red bell peppers
1 green bell pepper
1 can pineapple rings in its own juice, approx 8 oz
2 tablespoons sunflower oil
4 tablespoon chicken or vegetable bouillon
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
2 teaspoons Maizena

Trim the meat and cut in thin shreds. Slice the onion, trim and slice the bell peppers, cut the pineapple rings in suitable chunks and save the juice. Heat up the oil in a wok pan or a large frying pan. Put in the meat and the onion and wok for 4 to 5 minutes until the meat is browned on all sides and the onion is tender.

Add the bell peppers and wok for 2 to 3 minutes until they start to get tender. Pour on the bouillon, chili sauce and pineapple chunks and the juice. Mix soy sauce, vinegar and maizena. Add this to the wok pan and bring to a boil while stirring. Simmer slowly for about 2 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Serve with jasmine rice.

Enjoy!

Bella
