BREAD APPETIZER
Aptitbröd
1 large onion
1 can anchovy fillets, approx 4 oz
3 to 4 tablespoons tomato paste
16 slices good, strong cheese (but not too strong and ripe,
then it will not melt down enough)
Slice the bread but let it hold together. Stir the fat until soft and spread it between the slices. Finely chop onions and anchovies, add tomato purée and spread this between the slices as well. Place the sliced cheese in between (they can very well stick out a bit) and gently press the bread together.

Bake in the oven at 440 to 480F until
crisp and golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Serve this delicious thing at once with a tomato and

Enjoy!
