Chicken beer pan - Kycklingpanna med öl

CHICKEN BEER PAN
Kycklingpanna med öl

The chicken is juicy and gets a piquante, slightly different taste when simmered in beer. It’s especially good with bread.

4 servings

1 chicken in pieces, approx 2 lbs, or 2 lbs chicken parts
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 middle-sized chopped red onion
1/3 cup chopped celery
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon white pepper
½ chicken bouillon cube
1 bottle of beer, approx 1 ¼ cups

Decoration:
chopped celery

Wipe off the chicken pieces, melt the fat in a frying pot and brown the chicken on all sides. Add onion, celery, garlic, salt and pepper, crumble the bouillon cube into the pot and pour on the beer. Cover and simmer slowly for 30 minutes or until the chicken is done. Sprinkle with chopped celery and serve.

Enjoy!
