Chicken in a delicious sauce - Kyckling i läcker sås

CHICKEN IN A DELICIOUS SAUCE
Kyckling i läcker sås

The chicken is cooked in a frying pot on the stovetop and is served with a delectable sauce with the taste of vinegar and soured cream.

4 servings

1 chicken in pieces, approx 2 lbs, or 2 lbs chicken parts
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 chopped onion
1 crushed garlic clove
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons paprika
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 ¾ cups chicken bouillon
1 red bell pepper, thinly shredded
1 green bell pepper, thinly shredded
1 yellow bell pepper, thinly shredded
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 ¼ cups soured cream

Decoration:
parsley
chopped chives

Wipe off the chicken. Melt the fat in a frying pot and brown the chicken parts on all sides until coloured. Put them on a plate. Add onion and garlic and sizzle on low heat until the onion is tender. Put the chicken back in the pot. Mix salt, pepper, paprika and flour and sprinkle this over the chicken. Add tomato paste, bouillon and shredded bell pepper. Stir.

Bring to a boil and cover with a lid. Simmer slowly on low heat for about 25 minutes or until the chicken is done. Take it up and put it on a warm serving plate. Keep warm under aluminum foil. Stir in the vinegar and half of the soured cream and heat the sauce up, but not boil. Flavour to taste and adjust if necessary.

Pour the sauce over the chicken and decorate with parsley and chives. Sprinkle some paprika over the remaining soured cream and serve it with the dish.

Enjoy!

Bella
