CURRY-BAKED
MUSSELS
Currygratinerade musslor
3½ oz fresh mushrooms
1 to 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 sprigs chopped parsley
curry powder
1 oz butter or margarine
1 to 2 crushed garlic cloves
salt
black pepper
2 slices crumbled white loaf bread
Chop the onion and slice the mushrooms. Melt 1 to 2 tablespoons fat in a frying pan and brown onion, mushrooms, parsley and curry for 3 to 5 minutes. Melt the fat and blend in garlic, salt, black pepper and breadcrumbs.

You can
make a lot with just a few ingredients. Mussels and mushrooms, flavoured and
baked in the oven, is a simple, easy-to-make dish.

can mussels, 7 oz

Divide
the mushroom mix and mussels into 4 oven-proof serving dishes or in a larger
dish. Divide the bread mix on top of the mussels as well and bake high up in
the oven at 480F for about 10 minutes.
Serve as
an entrée with sliced white bread or baguette.
