MEAT LOAF PIQUANTE

1 cup water
5 oz strong cheese
1 onion
1½ teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon salt
cayenne
2 tablespoons mustard
1 egg
1 tablespoon oil
2 to 3 teaspoon curry
Heat the oven to 390F.

A juicy meat loaf with the taste of cheese, sage and
curry.

1 lb ground meat, 50% beef and 50% pork
2 slices white loaf bread1 cup water
5 oz strong cheese
1 onion
1½ teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon salt
cayenne
2 tablespoons mustard
1 egg
1 tablespoon oil
2 to 3 teaspoon curry
Heat the oven to 390F.
Crumble the bread and soak it in
water for about 5 minutes. Finely dice the cheese and finely chop the onion.
Mix the ground meat with sage, salt, cayenne, mustard, egg and cheese, blend in
the bread and shape to a loaf. Put it in an oven-proof dish.
Mix oil and curry and brush the meat
loaf with this. Put the dish in the middle of the oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
Slice the meat loaf and serve with potatoes of your choice and a sauce of
soured cream mixed with curry and chopped parsley.
