ORIENTAL PORK PAN

Approx 15 oz fillet of pork
1 cup chicken bouillon
3 tablespoons Chinese soy sauce
2 tablespoons Maizena
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 middle-sized onion, cut in 8 wedges
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 red bell peppers, coarsely chopped
1 lb broccoli florets
1 teaspoon ground chili pepper
2/3 cup cashew nuts or peanuts
Mix bouillon, soy sauce and Maizena in a bowl. Heat up a wok or a frying pan on high heat. Shred the pork fillet in ½ cm thick slices. Pour the oil in the wok or frying pan and heat it up but do not let it smoke. Brown the fillet in the oil. Stir continuously until the meat is no longer pink, approx 5 minutes. Put on a paper towel.
Brown onion and garlic for about 2 minutes while stirring all the time. Add bell pepper, broccoli and chili pepper and brown until the vegetables are crisp, about 2 minutes. Add meat and bouillon mixture and fry until the meat is heated through and the sauce thickens. approx 5 minutes. Stir in the nuts.
Put the casserole on serving plates and serve with boiled rice and a salad.
