STEAKS
Biffar med grönsaksröra
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper
½ red onion
1 celery stem
½ to 1 green bell pepper
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
½ teaspoon mustard seeds
½ teaspoon salt
black pepper
Start with the veggie mix: Chop tomatoes, onion,
celery and bell pepper. Mix this with oil, vinegar, parsley and spices and let
draw for a while.

The veggie mix can either be sizzled in a frying pan
for a while and be served warm, or eaten cold. Soured cream and grated cheese
with that and you’re good to go!

4 minute steaks (thin steaks of beef), in all approx 1 lb
1 tablespoon butter or margarine¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper
Veggie mix:
2 to 3 large tomatoes½ red onion
1 celery stem
½ to 1 green bell pepper
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
½ teaspoon mustard seeds
½ teaspoon salt
black pepper
Brown the fat in a frying pan and brown the steaks
on both sides. Lower the heat and fry until done, 1 to 3 minutes per side
depending on how you like your meat. Flavour with salt and pepper.
Put the steaks on a serving plate and serve with
raw-fried potatoes, soured cream and grated cheese – and, of course, a salad!
