BEEF WITH SOURED CREAM AND SWEET PEPPER
Biff med paprika-gräddfil
1 green bell pepper
1 to 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons flour
½ to 1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup water
1 meat bouillon cube
2 tablespoons tomato paste
5 oz green beans, frozen and thawed
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
paprika
black pepper
Finely shred the meat. Peel the onion and trim the
sweet pepper. Slice the onion and cut the bell pepper in rings (you can’t say
“slices” there, can you?). Melt the fat in a large frying pan or pot and brown
the meat until coloured. Take it up, then sizzle the onion for a few minutes.
Sprinkle with flour, paprika and salt and add water plus bouillon cube.
