Easy-made ground meat mix - Lättlagad köttfärsröra

EASY-MADE GROUND MEAT MIX
Lättlagad köttfärsröra

The result of this easy-made recipe will be a lovely ground meat mix, delicious to serve with pasta or rice.

4 servings

14 oz to 1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 chopped onion
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ chopped green bell pepper
1 can crushed tomatoes, 14 oz
2 tablespoons tomato paste or chili sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup chicken bouillon or red wine
2 crushed garlic cloves
black pepper
salt if desired

Melt the fat in a frying pan, add the onion and brown it for a few minutes. Add the meat and brown it while stirring. Add oregano, basil, sweet pepper, tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon, garlic and black pepper. Bring to a boil and boil for about 20 minutes but preferably longer, uncovered. Stir occasionally. Flavour to taste and adjust if necessary – since the bouillon contains salt you shouldn’t need to add that.

Serve with pasta or rice and additional Parmesan cheese.
