DELECTABLE MEAT SKEWERS

16 small onions
8 cherry tomatoes
1 onion
1/3 cup Chinese soy sauce
5 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1 crushed garlic clove
black pepper
Cut the meat in suitable cubes and put it in a bowl.

A tender piece of beef is excellent to put on a skewer.
The meat gets even more tender if you leave it in the marinade for a long time,
preferably overnight.

15 oz entrecote or fillet of beef
16 mushrooms16 small onions

Marinade:
¼ cup sesame seeds1 onion
1/3 cup Chinese soy sauce
5 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1 crushed garlic clove
black pepper
Marinade:
Roast the sesame seeds in a dry frying pan until
coloured, approx 5 minutes. Peel and finely chop the onion. Mix all ingredients
for the marinade and pour it over the meat, then marinate in the fridge for at
least 2 hours or overnight.
Trim the mushrooms and peel the onion. Pre-cook the
onions for a few minutes. Take up the meat and make the skewers with meat,
mushrooms and onions. Baste with the marinade and grill in the upper part of
the oven for 4 to 10 minutes depending on how you like your meat. Place the
tomatoes on the skewers shortly before the meat is done, then baste again and
continue grilling until the meat is done. Serve with baked potatoes and a
salad, or something else that you like!
