WHOLEMEAL CLEMENTINE COOKIES

20 cookies
5.3 oz butter
0.4 cup sugar
1.2 cup flour
0.2 cup wholemeal grains
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoons whole aniseeds
grated zest from 2 clementines
Preheat oven to 347F.
Stir butter and sugar until soft and smooth. Stir together flour, wholemeal grains, baking powder and mortared aniseeds. Blend the flour mixture into the butter together with clementine zest and stir it all to a smooth dough. Roll into 20 small balls and place on a paper-lined roasting pan. Flatten them out a little.
Bake in the middle of the oven for 12 to 15 minutes and allow to cool on the plate.
