HONEY MUSTARD FALU SAUSAGE WITH APPLES

Serves 4

14 oz Falu sausage or suitable

replacement

2 tablespoons honey mustard

1 apple

5.3 oz cheese

8 to 10 potatoes

2 tablespoons oil

salt, preferably flaked 

Preheat oven to 437F. 

Cut the sausage in approx ½ inch slices, but not all the way down. Place the sausage in a greased, oven-proof pan and spread mustard in between the slices. Cut apples and cheese in slices and put either one between each. Peel and cut the potatoes in wedges and place around the sausage. Brush with oil and sprinkle lightly with salt.

Place the pan in the lower half of the oven and cook for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve with grated carrots.
