GROUND BEEF PATTIES WITH FRIED ONIONS
Köttfärsburgare med stekt lök
Serves 6
1 lb 8 oz ground beef
1 egg
1 tablespoon flour + 0.2 cup water
1½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 onions
butter or margarine
Mix the ground beef well with egg, flour, water and spices. Shape into rather large patties and fry them in turns for about 5 minutes on each side, until they're cooked through.
Peel and slice the onions and fry until golden in some fat. Add about 0.8 cup water, put a lid on and slowly simmer the onions until tender.
Serve the beef patties with fried onions, boiled potatoes and a green salad.
