Apple Crunch Cake - Äppelkaka med crunch

APPLE CRUNCH CAKE
Äppelkaka med crunch

1 cake

1.7 oz butter
2 eggs
0.8 cup sugar
0.8 cup flour
0.6 cup fruit muesli or
crushed, crispy flakes
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 apples
2 tablespoons brown sugar

For serving:
vanilla sauce


Preheat oven to 350F. 

Melt the butter and beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Mix flour, muesli and baking powder and stir this into the egg batter. Add the melted butter and pour the batter in a greased oven-proof baking pan, diameter approx 9 inches.

Peel, core and cut the apples in wedges. Distribute them over the batter and sprinkle with some muesli. Cover the apples with thin slices of butter and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake on the lowest shelf of the oven for about 30 minutes.

Serve with vanilla sauce.
