French Falu Sausage Pan with Green Pepper - Fransk grönpepparpanna

FRENCH FALU SAUSAGE PAN WITH
GREEN PEPPER

Serves 4

Approx 1.1 lb Falu sausage
or suitable equivalent
butter
1 leek
0.8 cup creme fraiche
1 tablespoon concentrated veal fond
0.4 cup water
1 teaspoon Chinese soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon green pepper in liquid
0.6 cup cornichons (small pickled gherkins)
chopped parsley


Cut the sausage in shreds. Clean and shred the leek. Brown sausage and leek in a frying pan with butter. Add creme fraiche, veal fond, water, soy sauce, mustard and green pepper. Boil it all for a few minutes. Add cornichons and sprinkle with parsley.
