GROUND MEAT, BELL PEPPER AND SPAGHETTI
Spaghetti med paprikafärs
Serves 2
1 onion
10.6 oz ground meat
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
7 oz crushed, canned tomatoes,
preferably chili flavored
2 teaspoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon basil
salt, pepper
1 tablespoon concentrated
veal fond
1 bell pepper, whichever color
Peel and chop the onion and sauté in butter until tender. Add the ground meat and cook until crumbly. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, salt, pepper and veal fond. Boil for about 10 minutes. Add trimmed, shredded bell pepper and simmer slowly for about 5 minutes.
Serve with spaghetti and a salad.
