RHUBARB COOKIES

30 cookies
7 oz room-tempered butter
0.4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1.8 cups flour
Filling:
5.3 oz rhubarb
0.3 cup sugar
Preheat oven to 347F.
Peel the rhubarb if necessary. Slice it thinly and boil until tender with sugar in a saucepan. Allow the mash to cool. Stir butter and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla sugar, baking powder and flour and work to a dough.
Roll out to a sausage and cut in 22 pieces. Put each piece in a paper tin, make a thumbprint in the middle and drop a spoonful of the rhubarb mash in each. Bake for about 10 minutes.
