CHOCOLATE COFFEE CAKE

1 cake, 12 to 15 pieces
3½ oz butter
0.6 cup water
2 eggs
1.2 cup sugar
1½ teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons cocoa
1.2 cup flour
Preheat oven to 347F.
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add the water. Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Mix baking powder, cocoa and flour and sift it into the batter. Stir in the butter mixture and blend to a batter.
Pour in a greased, floured baking pan, capacity 6 cups. Bake in the lower part of the oven for 1 hour. Leave in the pan for 10 minutes before unmoulding.
