LEMON-GLAZED COCONUT CUTS

30 cookies
4.4 oz butter
0.4 cup sugar
0.8 cup flour
0.8 cup flaked coconut
1 teaspoon baking powder
some salt
Lemon icing:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 lemon
Preheat oven to 347F.
Mix butter, sugar, flour, coconut, baking powder and salt in a food processor and work to a dough. Roll it out onto a floured work surface to two sausages. Put them on a paper-lined baking plate and flatten them out slightly. Bake in the middle of the oven until the sausages are nicely colored, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Take out the plate and cut the rolls in slightly diagonal slices, approx 3/4 inch thick, with a sharp knife. Allow to cool on the baking paper on a rack.
Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to a smooth icing. Pipe thin lines of icing on the cookies before it has set.
Break the cookies apart when the icing has set. Keep in a tight jar with a lid.
