PORK CHOP PAN WITH APPLE AND CIDER SAUCE
Kotlettpanna med äpple och cidersås
Serves 2
2 large, extra meaty pork chops
1 teaspoon butter or margarine
salt, black pepper
0.8 cup apple cider
0.4 cup low-fat creme fraiche
1 tablespoon Maizena
2 teaspoons concentrated veal fond
1 teaspoon Chinese soy sauce
1 apple, diced
½ red bell pepper in pieces
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
For serving:
boiled broccoli
boiled potatoes
Wipe off the meat and make some cuts in the rind, if there is a rind. Heat up the fat in a frying pan and fry them for about 3 minutes on each side. Flavor with salt and pepper while frying.
Take up the pork chops and place them on a plate. Pour the cider in the frying pan and stir. Blend in creme fraiche, Maizena, veal fond, soy sauce and diced apple in the sauce. Boil while stirring for a few minutes, put the pork chops in the sauce and sprinkle with bell pepper and parsley.
Serve with broccoli and potatoes.
