BACON-WRAPPED GROUND MEAT PATTIES

Serves 2
Patties:
1.1 lb ground meat (beef + pork)
2 tablespoons onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
some black pepper
0.4 cup cooking cream, approx 15% fat
5 oz streaky bacon
Sauce:
1.2 cups canned tomatoes,
crushed or sieved
For serving:
potatoes
broccoli
Preheat oven to 392F.
Patties:
Mix the ground meat in a bowl with onion powder, salt, pepper and cream. Stir until smooth and shape to 6 to 8 patties. Wrap a slice of bacon around each and place them in a greased, oven-proof pan. Cook in the middle of the oven for 10 minutes.
Pour the tomatoes around the patties and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
Serve with boiled potatoes and broccoli.
