CHICKEN WITH LEEK
Kyckling på purjobädd
Serves 4
4 chicken fillets
salt, pepper
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 leek
2 tablespoons Maizena
3½ oz Gorgonzola cheese
1.6 cups cooking cream
For serving:
rice
salad
Preheat oven to 392F.
Flavor the chicken and brown the fillets on both sides in 1 tablespoon butter or margarine until nicely colored. Rinse and shred the leek and sauté it in remaining fat. Put the leek in an oven-proof pan and sprinkle with Maizena, place the chicken fillets on the leek and sprinkle with cheese. Pour on the cream and bake for 20 minutes. Make sure the chicken is done.
Serve with rice and a salad.
