Plum Clafoutis - Plommonclafoutis

PLUM CLAFOUTIS
Plommonclafoutis

Serves 6

12 plums
1.7 oz butter
3 eggs
0.4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
0.4 cup flour
0.6 cup regular milk
2 tablespoons crushed almonds
(not ground, but crushed)


Preheat oven to 437F.

Split the plums and remove the stones. Put in a greased oven-proof pan, cupped side up. Melt the butter. Beat the eggs and add sugar, vanilla sugar and flour. Add butter and milk and stir until smooth. Pour the batter over the plums, sprinkle with the crushed almonds and bake until nicely colored, about 20 minutes.
