Potatoes Au Gratin with Chèvre and Bell Peppers - Potatisgratäng med chèvre och paprika

POTATOES AU GRATIN WITH CHÈVRE
AND BELL PEPPERS
Potatisgratäng med chèvre and bell peppers

2 lbs 9 oz potatoes
2 grilled bell peppers, canned and shredded
½ leek, thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
2 cups cream
0.4 cup regular milk
2 teaspoons salt
5.3 oz chèvre cheese


Preheat oven to 392F.

Peel and thinly slice the potatoes. Alternate potatoes, bell peppers, leek and garlic in an oven-proof pan. Mix cream, milk and salt and pour this over the potatoes in the pan. Crumble the cheese on top or slice the cheese. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 50 minutes. If too dark, cover with aluminum foil towards the end of the cooking time.
