THE CAPTAIN'S SHRIMP STEW

Serves 4
2.2 lbs unpeeled shrimp
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon curry
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 leek, shredded
1 red bell pepper, shredded
some cayenne
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon mushroom soy sauce
0.8 cup creme fraiche
Peel the shrimp and put them in a bowl. Heat up butter, curry, garlic, leek and bell pepper in a pot until the onion is tender. Add cayenne, tomato paste, soy sauce and creme fraiche and heat through. Add shrimps and flavor to taste. The stew must not boil once the shrimps are in.
Serve with boiled rice, lemon wedges and a salad.
