Lemon basil fish - Citron- och basilikafisk

LEMON BASIL FISH
Citron- och basilikafisk

It doesn’t get any easier than this if you have ready-made lemon sauce!

4 servings

1 1/3 lbs fillets of white fish, e.g. cod, haddock and
the like, fresh or frozen thawed fish
1 teaspoon salt
2 to 3 garlic cloves
¼ cup chopped basil
1 ¼ cups ready-made lemon sauce,
if you can get it, otherwise home-made
1/3 cup grated cheese


Heat the oven to 440F. Flavour the fish with salt and put it in a greased, oven-proof dish. Peel and slice the garlic. Sprinkle garlic and basil over the fish. Pour the sauce over it all and sprinkle with cheese.

Put the dish in the middle of the oven for about 20 minutes. Serve with boiled potatoes and tomatoes.
