TAGLIATELLE WITH MOZZARELLA AND BACON
Tagliatelle med mozzarella och bacon


4 servings


1 onion
2 garlic cloves
2 cans crushed tomatoes à 14 oz
1/3 cup white wine
1 bunch fresh basil
10 oz tagliatelle pasta
2 pkgs streaky bacon à 5 oz
1 pkg mini mozzarella cheese




Peel and finely chop onion and garlic and sautée in some olive oil in a saucepan until shiny. Add tomatoes and wine and let simmer for about 20 minutes. Mix to a smooth sauce and add the chopped parsley.


Boil the pasta. Shred the bacon and fry until crisp and transfer to paper towels to get rid of too much excess fat.


Mix tomato sauce and pasta and serve spread with mini mozzarellas and flaked, crisp bacon.
