Plum compote - Plommonkompott

PLUM COMPOTE
Plommonkompott

4 servings

1 lb plums
1/4 cup special sugar for making jam
(I suppose you have that as well, like we do?)
1/3 cup water
½ tablespoon grated ginger

For serving:
whipped Cream


Split the plums, remove the pips and cut the plums in wedges. Bring “jam sugar” and water to a boil and keep boiling until half of the water has gone. Add plums and grated ginger and let simmer slowly while stirring for about 10 minutes. Serve the compote chilled with whipped cream.
