Luxurious chocolate cake - Lyxig chokladkaka

LUXURIOUS CHOCOLATE CAKE
Lyxig chokladkaka

8 to 10 pieces

7 oz butter or margarine
7 oz dark chocolate, 70% cocoa content
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon instant coffee
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

For serving:
crème fraîche
orange slices


Heat the oven to 390F.

Melt the fat in a saucepan and remove from heat. Break the chocolate in pieces, add it and stir until it melts. Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Gently stir in the chocolate mixture, cream and instant coffee. Mix flour and baking powder and fold this into the batter.

Pour in a greased, floured springform pan, diameter approx 10 inches. Bake in the lower part of the oven for 25 to 35 minutes. Gently shake the pan, the cake should be a bit loose and sticky. Allow to cool in the pan.
