BANANA COUPE
Banancoupe
2 oranges
3½ oz grapes
some sugar if needed
1 cup vanilla ice cream
Peel and dice the fruit or cut in slices. Make sure to remove all pits or whatever you call it. Divide the fruit in serving glasses, sprinkle with some sugar and put the fruit salad in the fridge for a while before serving. Put on a dab of ice cream at the last minute.

Grapefruit, apples, melons, peaches, pineapple and,
of course, fresh or frozen berries of different kinds can be used instead of
bananas and it looks very festive in the serving cups. The ice cream on top can
be substituted with whipped cream, perhaps laced with some brandy or liqueur? A
little splash of port or sherry in a fruit salad is also nice.
