EXOTIC GROUND MEAT PATTIES
Exotiska färsbiffar

Juicy ground meat patties with raisins and curry. Boiled rice and a green salad with lemon is good with them.

4 servings

1 lb ground meat, 50% beef, 50% pork
1 slice white loaf bread
2/3 cup water
1 onion
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon salt
white pepper
2 eggs
2 tablespoons raisins
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
2 to 3 teaspoons curry


Crumble the bread and swell in the water for 5 minutes. Chop the onion. Melt 1 tbsp fat in a frying pan and sizzle the onion for a few minutes. Mix the ground meat with salt, pepper, egg, raisins, onion and bread. Shape into 8 to 12 oval patties. Melt remaining fat and fry the patties until nicely coloured and done. Serve with e.g. boiled rice mixed with small pieces of pineapple and flaked almonds.
