Gula godingar
grated zest from 1 large lemon
1½ tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 ¼ cup powdered sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1½ to 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Stir fat and sugar until fluffy and blend in egg, lemon zest and juice. Mix powdered sugar, flour and baking powder and stir this into the batter. Store in the fridge for 1½ hours or in the fridge for 30 minutes to become firmer and easier to shape.

These goodies are easy to bake, but put the dough in
the freezer for 30 minutes and they’ll be easier to shape. A dab of lemon glaze
gives them a golden lining …
Approx 48 cookies
7½ oz butter or margarine
1 egggrated zest from 1 large lemon
1½ tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 ¼ cup powdered sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Lemon glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1½ to 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Stir fat and sugar until fluffy and blend in egg, lemon zest and juice. Mix powdered sugar, flour and baking powder and stir this into the batter. Store in the fridge for 1½ hours or in the fridge for 30 minutes to become firmer and easier to shape.
Roll the batter into balls, approx 1 inch diameter.
Put them, about 1 inch apart, on greased baking plates (or use baking paper).
Bake in the middle of the oven at 350F for about 12 minutes. Allow to
cool on the baking plate and then transfer them to a rack.
Glaze:
Mix powdered sugar, fat and lemon juice and stir until
smooth. Put a dab of this on each cookie and let it set.
