PORK CHOPS WITH BELL PEPPER SAUCE
Fläskkotlett med paprikasås
Serves 2
2 pork chops
salt, pepper
butter or margarine for frying
Bell pepper sauce:
½ onion
3½ oz canned, grilled bell peppers
in liquid
0.4 cup creme fraiche
0.4 cup water
salt, pepper
some sugar
2 tablespoons fresh basil
For serving:
oven potatoes
boiled vegetables
Flavor the meat and fry in butter for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
Bell pepper sauce:
Peel and chop the onion and put in a saucepan together with bell pepper and some of the marinade. Sauté until the onion is tender. Add creme fraiche and water and bring to a boil. Mix the sauce until smooth and flavor to taste with salt, pepper and sugar. Add shredded basil.
Serve with oven roast potatoes and boiled vegetables.
